Law enforcement training at Camp Grayling is scheduled and coordinated by the Northern Michigan Law Enforcement Training Group. Formed under the provisions of the State of Michigan Urban Cooperation Act, group membership is open to all governmental entities that conduct law enforcement activities and colleges and universities that offer a criminal justice program. Over fifty counties, cities and colleges have joined the training group. Membership costs are very reasonable and based on the number of certified police and corrections officers employed by a department.
The mission of the Training Group is to provide a quality environment for training local law enforcement officers. The training group will work with using departments to schedule any required facilities for conducting training. The following facilities are available at Camp Grayling for law enforcement training:
